| Refreshments
| Teas, coffees etc. will be supplied throughout the event. Sandwiches
etc. are available at various shops nearby.

| Competition
| The competition will be a single section five round Swiss open
to all players with a grade under 185. The playing rate is
45 minutes each for the whole game under F.I.D.E. rapidplay rules
|
| Prizes
| All entry fees, after deduction of room hire and game fee, will
be returned as prizes. If funds permit, there will be prizes for winner
and runner-up as well as grading prizes.
It is emphasised that the level of cash prizes will be strictly
dependent on entry fees and will be announced at the beginning of
the event when numbers are known. The following prizes, however,
are guaranteed: 1st £25, 2nd £15, grading prize £15.
The highest placed Cornish player will receive the Kerrier Cup
to hold for one year. Ties will be decided by 1) sum of progressive
scores, 2) sum of opponents' scores, 3) Sonneborn-Berger count

| Entry Fee
| The entry fee is £4 (juniors £2) and will be collected on
the day. Please do not send money in advance.

| Grand Prix
| This will be the first event of the 2004/05 Cornwall Grand Prix.

| Please telephone, email or post your entry to the organiser by Thursday
8th July, giving your name and, if from outside Cornwall, your grade.
Although entries will be accepted on the day, it will greatly
assist the organisers if you would please enter as early as possible.
